CHARTER MONARCH CHEVRONS & MONARCH CHEVRONS
There are two types-Charter Monarch Chevron Awards and Monarch Chevron Award.
Chevrons are issued in recognition of long periods of membership in Lions Clubs International.
They are in no way related to attendance awards.
The first chevron is earned starting with the tenth year of membership and in multiples of five years thereafter.
Once a Lion has met all the necessary requirements, the award is automatically shipped to the current year’s district governor,
between July and September and presented to the winning Lion at a district convention or other celebration.
And may also be purchased at the Lions International Shop.

 One Hole Charter Member Monarch Chevron Awards. These chevrons are rare and can be found every now and then.
 Could have been issued in 1931,it is currently being researched.

Current Charter Member Monarch Chevron Awards are issued at the following years of service:
 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75 and more. Note LCI shop only goes to 65.
