October.
 Webmaster note: At this time not sure which order (year or colors) medals were 
distributed.
 In the 1966 ad the 
medal appears white. Ads in the 70's and 80's appear to be blue.
 Program ran from the documented 1966 ad through the1980's.

 Criteria:
If the Club adds 8 or more members during October the President & Membership 
Chair
receive the Melvin Jones Medallion instead of the medal.

 "We Serve" clutch pin
 
  Criteria: The President, Secretary, & Membership Chair are each entitled to 
receive the above "We Serve" clutch pin
 if their club adds five or more new, transfer or reinstated members during 
October.
 Seen in this 1970 Lions 
Magazine.
 Note:
This pin was also used as an "October" Growth pin in 1963 & 1964.
